Polyester fiber has the advantages of high strength, high elasticity, good abrasion and corrosion resistance, and good light resistance.

Features of polyester fiber:
Strength: The strength of polyester fiber is nearly one time higher than that of cotton and three times higher than that of wool, so the polyester fabric is solid and durable.
Heat resistance: can be used at 70~170 ℃
Elasticity: The elasticity of polyester is close to that of wool, and its wrinkle property is higher than that of other fibers. The fabric is wrinkle free and has good shape retention.
Which one is good for polyester yarn?
Abrasion resistance: The abrasion resistance of polyester fiber is second only to that of nylon fiber, ranking second among synthetic fibers.
Water absorption: polyester has low water absorption and moisture regain, and good insulation performance. However, due to its low water absorption, high static electricity generated by friction, and poor dyeing performance.
Application of polyester fiber
As a garment fiber, polyester fabric can be wrinkle free and iron free after washing. Polyester is often blended or interwoven with various fibers, such as cotton polyester, wool polyester, etc., which are widely used in various clothing materials and decorative materials. Polyester can be used in industry for conveyor belt, tent, canvas, cable, fishing net, etc., especially for polyester cord used for tire, which is close to nylon in performance. Polyester can also be used as electrical insulating material, acid resistant filter cloth, medical industrial cloth, etc.
